This journal went friends only on the 17th of March 2007. That means you can't see what I write here unless you're on my friendslist. I did that because the internet is full of weirdos and members of my family and I don't want any of them to read my blog ;) However, the internet is a shiny happy place with lots of wonderful people and I'm always looking for new friends. If you want to be added, just leave a few words here about yourself and why you want to friend me, if we share fandoms and/or if we seem to have some stuff in common, I will more than likely friend you back. I'm currently a bit picky about adding new friends, I have already a long flist and I'd like to learn to know everyone. Comment only if you know we're meant to be together or something like that. I did a tiny friends-cut. I hate doing that but I feel like my flist is growing bigger and bigger while I'm having less and less time to check it and post, so I think it was necessary.
I mostly removed dead journals - which by the way, breaks my heart...promise me you'll tell me if you decide to left? - and others journals which I didn't recognize or are just twitters.
If you feel like I've made a mistake, please comment. If you can read this, you're still in.

Proper entry coming tomorrow and I'm so glad to see so many enthusiastic reviews for Star Trek. Makes up for all the weird faces I've received at school when I said I went to see it. "You...you like Star Trek? Isn't it an old man's show?" xD

I'm such in a good mood today, it's quite unbelievable. First of all, I've had the BEST grade in Literature (ya know, the mock exam of last week). I'm so proud of myself, I don't really care to have beaten everyone but on a personal level, I feel like I'm finally learning stuff and getting good at something :D
(won't last long I think! xD)
AND MERLIN GETS A SEASON 2 :D

On a not so good side, my school has randomly decided that it'd be nice to block websites and thus, facebook, youtube and even photobucket, tinypic and (horrors of horrors) ohnotheydidnt@lj :(
But eh, I found one or two websites that allow the bypassing of the proxy so whatever, you won't stop me from my daily dose of celebrity snark :D

I did a friends-cut. First one in a long time I think.
I mostly removed what I think are dead journals, that is to say not updated in more than a month or even more. If I removed you but that your journal is actually on hiatus or if you moved, please tell so and I'll be very glad to add you back.

If your journal is updated but I still removed you, I'm sorry but I don't think we have much in common anymore. Nothing personal, we just didn't connect or maybe we're not as close as we used to be.

I'll be very glad if you removed me back please :)

ONE DAY CONTENT STRIKE: Friday, March 21, from midnight to midnight GMT.

For one day, make no posts. Make no comments. Let there be NO new content added to LJ.

SUP obviously does not realize that Basic users have given something of value to them, that it is content that drives the site.

So, for one 24-hour period, from midnight GMT to midnight GMT, let's see how many people we can get to pledge to contribute NO CONTENT.

This will create a permanent downward spike in the daily-posts statistics, a permanent reminder of the power of the userbase.

We are holding the Content Strike because we want to demonstrate that LiveJournal is content-driven.

We are holding the Content Strike because we want the new owners of LiveJournal to better understand the power and resolve of the LJ Community of Users.

We are holding the Content Strike because all of us, Paid, Permanent and Plus users as well as Basic, want to demonstrate our solidarity as a Community of Users. We do not consider Basic users to be freeloaders, we consider them to be valuable content-providers and Friends.

Just wanted to say that Ebay owns my soul, I have an account for years but I never used it. I was bored yesterday so I browsed it and oh my god, there are real treasures over there. I bought two Mighty Boosh badges for me, four others for me and my sister and I'm considering buying other stuff. I seriously should stop shopping online, it's bad for my wallet and I haven't bought anything for my parents yet ><

Has anyone seen the Christmas special of Extras? I can't wait to see it, I really loved this show even if it was kinda embarrassing (less than The Office though).
